The position is located in Berlin.
The scope of duties
- Definition of port necessities for the construction and O&M activities
- Completion of port assessment reports
- Development of port upgrade engineering plans for selected ports
- Preparation of MoUs and NDAs with port authorities and operators
- Interface Management
- Negotiation of port reservations and leases as well as procurement of the contracts
The profile of requirements
- Degree in Maritime or Civil Engineering or similar discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience in port or marine management
- Knowledge of European Health and Safety regulations
- Knowledge of DNV or internationally recognised standards for port facilities
- Fluency in German and English language
